Met Engage Update Hyland and Harrow Lodge Ward Good News

As part of our ongoing work to tackle crime and keep our communities safe, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Proactive Team carried out a warrant at an address within the Hyland and Harrow Lodge wards.

This joint operation resulted in the arrest of three individuals for offences including possession with intent to supply drugs, handling stolen goods, possession of an offensive weapon, and being wanted on warrant.

During the warrant, officers seized a quantity of drugs and a machete, removing harmful items from our streets and disrupting criminal activity in the area.

This operation is a strong example of the benefits of collaborative working between police teams, combining local knowledge and proactive enforcement to tackle crime. The address concerned had been associated with issues that were having a significantly detrimental effect on the local community, and this action demonstrates our commitment to addressing those concerns and making the area safer for residents.
